Our journey began in 2019 when Fred, driven by a passion for classic cars, envisioned a central online hub for enthusiasts in Coventry.
This idea was fuelled by a personal experience: Caroline had recently purchased a 1933 Morris Family 8. Although restored, they knew little about the car, sparking a curiosity about what local knowledge and resources were available in Coventry.
With Caroline’s vital support, a Facebook page was launched to share parts, advice, and camaraderie.
Membership grew steadily, but the subsequent arrival of the COVID-19 pandemic meant the club remained strictly a virtual community for a period.
The turning point came in 2022 when we successfully hosted our first in-person group meeting, and we were thrilled to welcome thirteen classic cars.
This initial success ignited a new chapter, leading to the introduction of our popular Wednesday ‘Chit-Chat’ meet. Since then, the club has flourished, growing into a vibrant community that successfully hosts an annual summer weekend event and an annual Christmas party award event.
Today, our regular monthly meets are held at The Oak in Baginton on the second Wednesday and the third Sunday of every month. Come and join the story!
